At SDC LEKA, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Return Policy outlines the terms and conditions for returns, exchanges, and refunds for products purchased through our online store at https://sdcleka.com.

Important: This Return Policy applies to physical products only (apparel, merchandise, physical goods). Digital products and downloadable resources are subject to different terms as outlined in our Terms of Service Section 8.

Return Policy for Physical Products

What Can Be Returned?

You may return physical products (hoodies, t-shirts, apparel, merchandise) if they meet the following conditions:

Eligible for Return:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused items with all original tags attached
- Items in original packaging with all accessories and documentation
- Defective or damaged merchandise (manufacturing defects, shipping damage)
- Incorrect items shipped due to our error
- Items that do not match the product description on our website

Not Eligible for Return:
- Items without original tags or packaging
- Worn, washed, or used items (except for defects discovered after first use)
- Items damaged due to misuse, accidents, or improper care
- Customized or personalized items (unless defective)
- Items purchased from unauthorized resellers or third parties
- Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" at time of purchase

Return Timeframe

Standard Returns: You must initiate your return within 7 days of the order delivery date as confirmed by your tracking number.
Defective Items: For defective or damaged items, you must report the issue within 14 days of delivery.
After the Return Window: Returns made after 7 days of the order delivery date (or 14 days for defective items) cannot be accepted and will not be refunded.

How to Initiate a Return

Follow these steps to return an item:

Step 1: Contact Us

Email us at info@sdcleka.com or support@sdcleka.com with the subject line "Return Request"

Include the following information:

  • Your order number (found in your confirmation email)
  • Item(s) you wish to return
  • Reason for return (defective, wrong size, doesn't fit, not as described, etc.)
  • Photos of the item (required for defective or damaged items)
  • Preferred resolution: refund, exchange, or store credit

Step 2: Await Return Authorization

Once we receive your return request:

  • We will review your request within 24-48 hours (business days)
  • If approved, you will receive a Return Authorization (RA) number via email
  • The email will include:
    • Return shipping address
    • Return instructions
    • Your RA number (must be clearly written on the package)
    • Deadline to ship your return (typically 7 days from authorization)

Important: Do not ship your return without receiving authorization and an RA number. Unauthorized returns may not be processed and will not be refunded.

Step 3: Package Your Return

Prepare your package carefully:

  • Place items in original packaging if possible
  • Include all tags, accessories, and documentation
  • Wrap items securely to prevent damage during shipping
  • Write your RA number clearly on the shipping label
  • Do not write on the original product packaging

Step 4: Ship Your Return

Important Shipping Requirements:

  • Use a trackable and insured shipping method
  • We recommend USPS, UPS, or FedEx with tracking
  • Keep your tracking number and shipping receipt
  • Ship within 7 days of receiving return authorization

Return Shipping Costs:

  • Defective or Our Error: We will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs
  • Standard Returns (change of mind, wrong size selected by customer, doesn't fit): Customer is responsible for return shipping costs
  • International Returns: Customer is responsible for all customs fees and international return shipping costs

Lost or Damaged Returns: SDC LEKA is not responsible for returns that are lost, stolen, or damaged while in transit. This is why we require trackable and insured shipping.

Step 5: Return Processing

Once your return is received:

  • We will inspect the item(s) within 3-5 business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your return is processed
  • If approved, your refund or exchange will be processed
  • If denied (items don't meet return criteria), we will contact you with options

Refunds

Refund Processing Time

Once your return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after approval
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Please allow 5-10 business days for your bank or credit card company to post the refund to your account
  • Processing times vary by financial institution

Refund Amount

Full Refund:

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: Full refund including original shipping
  • Our error: Full refund including original shipping

Partial Refund:

  • Standard returns: Purchase price minus original shipping costs (if any)
  • Customer pays return shipping costs
  • Items returned without authorization: May incur restocking fee of 15-20%

Non-Refundable Fees:

  • Original shipping charges (unless we made an error or item was defective)
  • Return shipping costs (unless we made an error or item was defective)
  • Gift wrapping or special services
  • Customs and duties fees for international orders

Payment Method Refunds

  • Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card used
  • PayPal: Refunded to your PayPal account
  • Other Payment Methods: Refunded via the original payment method

Gift Cards: If you paid with a gift card, the refund will be issued as store credit to the original gift card or a new gift card.

Exchanges

Exchange Policy

We offer exchanges for:

  • Different size of the same product (subject to availability)
  • Different color of the same product (subject to availability)
  • Different product of equal or lesser value

How to Request an Exchange

  1. Follow the same return process outlined above
  2. Indicate in your initial email that you want an exchange
  3. Specify what you'd like to exchange for
  4. We will confirm availability and process your exchange

Exchange Processing

  • If your desired exchange item is in stock: We'll ship it once we receive and approve your return
  • If your desired exchange item is out of stock: We'll offer a store credit or full refund
  • If you want a more expensive item: You'll need to pay the price difference before shipping
  • If you want a less expensive item: We'll issue the difference as store credit

Exchange Shipping

  • We'll cover shipping for exchanges due to our error or defective items
  • Customer pays shipping for exchanges due to size/preference (we ship the new item free; you pay to return)

Defective or Damaged Items

Reporting Defects

If you receive a defective or damaged item:

  • Contact us immediately (within 14 days of delivery)
  • Provide photos clearly showing the defect or damage
  • Include your order number and detailed description

Our Response

For verified defective or damaged items, we will:

  • Option 1: Send a replacement at no cost to you
  • Option 2: Issue a full refund including shipping costs
  • Option 3: Provide store credit for the full amount plus a courtesy discount

No Return Shipping Required: In some cases, we may not require you to return the defective item.

Special Circumstances

Wrong Size Selected by Customer

If you ordered the wrong size:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs
  • We recommend carefully reviewing our size charts before ordering
  • Size charts are available on each product page

Items on Sale or Clearance

  • Sale items are eligible for return within the standard 7-day window
  • All return policy terms apply equally to sale items
  • Final sale items (if clearly marked) are not eligible for return

Custom or Personalized Items

  • Custom or personalized items cannot be returned unless defective
  • Defects must be reported within 14 days with photo evidence
  • We will work with you to correct any errors we made

Bulk or Wholesale Orders

  • Different return terms may apply to bulk orders
  • For bulk or wholesale order returns, email us at info@sdcleka.com with the subject line "Bulk Order Return Request" and include your order number.

International Returns

International Shipping Returns

Important for International Customers:

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs
  • Customer is responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees incurred on the return
  • Use a trackable international shipping service
  • Declare accurate customs value to avoid delays
  • Allow additional time for international returns processing (10-15 business days)

International Refunds

  • Original customs duties and taxes paid at time of purchase are non-refundable
  • We are not responsible for customs charges on return shipments

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Digital products (e-books, downloadable resources, software, templates)
  • Gift cards or store credit
  • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable"
  • Personalized or customized items (unless defective)
  • Items returned without authorization (RA number)
  • Items returned after the return window has closed

Store Credit

When Store Credit is Issued

Store credit may be issued:

  • As an alternative to refund (if you prefer)
  • For exchanges when price difference exists
  • For returns without receipt or proof of purchase
  • As a courtesy resolution for special circumstances

Using Store Credit

  • Store credit never expires
  • Can be used for any future purchase
  • Cannot be transferred or sold
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Will be provided as a unique code sent via email
